LES VERBES IRREGULIERS : En anglais, certains verbes ne sont pas réguliers au prétérit et au participe passé (le participe passé étant utilisé pour construire des temps comme le present perfect ou encore le past perfect.)
Normalement, tous les verbes se terminent avec ED au prétérit et au participe passé.
LES VERBES IRREGULIERS
Par exemple, le verbe To like donne au prétérit liked (exemple I liked) et au participe passé liked (exemple I have liked).
Ce serait très simple si c’était comme ça pour tous les verbes. Pour mettre au prétérit ou au participe passé, il suffit de rajouter ED à la fin du verbe. Ca, ça marche pour tous les verbes RÉGULIERS. Cependant certains verbes (qui sont d’ailleurs assez nombreux), sont IRRÉGULIERS en anglais. Leur prétérit et leur participe passé ne se termine pas en ED.
LES VERBES IRREGULIERS: Pour connaître les verbes irréguliers en anglais, il n’y a aucun secret. Il faut simplement les apprendre.
